What we can help with
Corrections
Very welcome. If something on Island is wrong or out of date, send the page link, what needs fixing and, if you can, a source: a government page, a tourism board or the operator’s own site. We check it, fix it and update the page’s date.
Suggestions
An island we should cover, a question a page didn’t answer, a dataset we should be using. Tell us what you were trying to decide, and what would have helped.
Partnerships
Booking sites and affiliate programmes are welcome to get in touch. We don’t sell coverage, rankings or reviews. Our disclosure explains how partners work with us.
What we can’t help with
Bookings
We’re not a travel agent, so we can’t see, change or cancel a booking. Contact the hotel, operator or booking site you booked with. Their details are in your confirmation email.
Emergencies overseas
If you need help urgently, call local emergency services first. New Zealanders overseas can call the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s 24/7 consular emergency line on +64 99 20 20 20, or 0800 30 10 30 from within New Zealand. SafeTravel has the latest advice for every country.
Personal advice
We can’t advise on your own visa, health or insurance. Ask the country’s immigration authority, your doctor or your insurer.
